Babies grow and babies grow fast. I know this, but I don’t think I was quite prepared for the mover and shaker Grace has become since her 3-Month Session. Holy cuteness! (Don’t miss her newborn session – check it out here!)

Estes Park Family Photography

Our time together started in Pinewood Springs after a little car trouble for the Bodins. Before caravaning back to Estes, We snagged a few pictures around the Colorado Cherry shop, at which in all my many comings and goings from Estes I had never stopped. (Wish I would’ve gotten a snap of the location where I shot the above family portrait. Nothing like sticking your subjects in a grove of evergreens on a precarious slope along the side of a dirt road! No humans were endangered or harmed in the taking of this image.)

Back in Estes, we headed to Taylor + Dawn’s backyard. Living in Estes Park, it’s hard not to find a location that isn’t beautiful, but backyards are seriously underrated shoot locations. It was a little windy and cold, and Sweet Gracie was shivering in our short time outside, but she is such a cheerful little one.

I cannot get enough of Gracie’s eyes! That blue is real folks. Seriously. I didn’t edit them.

Taylor, Dawn, and Gracie,

Thanks for hanging with me on such a chilly Fall day. Getting to see Gracie grow in change is an experience I can’t quite put into words. With every expression she makes, I see each of you – her eyes and smile are a magical combination of the gentle calm and joy each of you exudes. It is an honor to be the one to document this first year of your lives together.

Denver Documentary and lifestyle family photographer, Laura Glen, has the CUTEST little family to show you. Blue eyes, beards, lots of sunshine, and of course, mountains, make this 6-month old, family session just precious.
