Morgan and Dylan’s small elopement in Estes Park, Colorado at Romantic RiverSong Inn was simply perfect. While it was fairly sunny when I arrived, a few rain clouds danced across the sky. They did leave a few sprinkles prior to the wedding but mostly gave the couple a cooler wedding day celebration.
Joy emanated from Morgan as she and her father began the walk to the riverside where Morgan and Dylan would say their vows. As they walked, their special father-daughter relationship was evident and a privilege to witness.
Mr. + Mrs. Reid / Elopement in Estes Park, Colorado
The couple met in college and waited several years to say their vows in a sweet ceremony along the banks of the Big Thompson. Surrounded by their families and a few close friends, the began their marriage amongst those they love most. It wasn’t about centerpieces and the perfect colors (Although the bride rocked the most incredible purple heels!). It was about the beginning of their marriage.
Both Morgan and Dylan were relaxed throughout their wedding day. Having anticipated this day for years, they both shared a quiet joy and calm, accompanied by Morgan’s giddy, exuberant personality.
I am 100% certain her dress was a perfect representation of her personality – gregarious, joyous, welcoming and ready to party at any moment. When you’ve got a dress like that, you have to dance! Portraits following the ceremony were so much. fun. with these two! They were so thrilled to be husband and wife, and Morgan was more than happy to show off her dancing dress.
Morgan + Dylan,
Thank you for sharing your joy on your wedding day. Celebrating with you was a precious privilege to me, and I am grateful to have watched as you began your marriage together. Your day was beautiful, and I pray your marriage will continue to grow in beauty.
