Before every session, I ask the parents something along the lines of, “Do you already have an idea for a memorable experience you would like me to photograph?”
Drea’s answer? “I HAVE NO IDEA.” ????
When you have seventeen (Yes, you read that right SEVENTEEN) lives to coordinate and mouths to feed, ‘I have no idea,’ seems like a valid answer to such a question.
The Thiele Clan – four “home-grown” (biological), seven adopted, two sons-in-law and two grandkids – represents five nations: China, Russia, Ethiopia, Iraq, and America. They are each fiercely proud to be a Thiele, and their genuine love for each other is evident in even the smallest of interactions.

We spent most of our time enjoying the cooler morning hours at a nearby park. (Phoneix, why on earth do you think 90 is a suitable temperature for the Fall?!) I loved watching the whole family interact. Someone was always laughing, someone was always running, and everyone was being cared for by everyone else. It was beautiful.

Wow. What an incredible family, and an incredible example of the Kingdom of God. Thank you for hanging with me back in October. Thank you for your openness, and sharing your stories with me. I pray that your friendships with your siblings and relationships with your Savior will continue to deepen. May you always cherish each other.
