What is the GDPR?
GDPR stands for the General Data Protection Regulation. As it pertains to Laura Glen Photography, the GDPR “regulates, among other things, how individuals and organizations may obtain, use, store, and eliminate personal data.” It is effective on May 25, 2018.
Why does it matter to LGP?
Some of my readers and clients reside in Europe, so I want to ensure that any personal information gathered as I serve you is handled with the utmost care and respect. It matters to me to be certain LGP is fully compliant with GDPR.
Do I need to do anything?
The short answer is “No.”
However, if you already receive the LGP Newsletter and would like to continue doing so, make sure to update your subscription settings here. (If you’re interested in receiving the LGP Newsletter, get the goodness in your inbox!)
The GDPR is pretty complicated, so if you’re interested in understanding it more fully, MailChimp has explained it very thoroughly here.
To get a better understanding of how LGP manages your private information, I’ve explained it all here.
